Furthermore, Adesanya became the UFC middleweight champion by defeating Robert Whittaker in round 2 of their bout. After 2 successful title defenses, ‘Stylebender’ looked to become the double champion by challenging Jan Blachowicz for the light heavyweight championship. However, he came up short against the Polish fighter.
