UFC middleweight champion Israel Adesanya went on an epic rant against fellow compatriot Kamaru Usman’s manager for trying to pit both ‘brothers’ against each other.

Israel Adesanya and Kamaru Usman hail from the same Nigerian roots. Both of the fighters have been immensely successful in their respective divisions. As the elite fighters have cleared their divisions, many speculate its time for them to venture into other divisions to become double champs.

Kamaru Usman’s manager, Ali Abdelaziz, also spoke on the same tracks. However, it did not sit right with Adesanya and has been after him ever since. Now, he mocks Abdelaziz, yet again, on the UFC 271 media day scrum.

“Yeah, f***ing Tim, why would you do that? What the f**k Tim. Why would you do such a thing? It’s my brotha. It’s my brotha. You want me to fight my brotha? You want the attention for yourself,” Adesanya trolled Abdelaziz in the garb of ‘Tim.’

“I am going to Tweet and delete again. You’re going to Tweet and delete, exactly. My guy, don’t try to put me and my brotha against each other. Better watch yourself. You want clout? You want to be on TV with your peanut head? Stop it,” Adesanya warns the manager.

Not only Adesanya but his coach and the man himself, Kamaru Usman, have rendered the fight pointless. Hence, it’s only Abdelaziz who is vouching for the scrap.

What are Kamaru Usman’s thoughts on the Israel Adesanya super fight?

Kamaru Usman is one of the most humble and well-mannered fighters on the UFC roster. Once he considers someone like his friend, he does not go back on his words.

Some fighters he considers as his ‘brothers’ are Khabib Nurmagomedov and fellow African champion Francis Ngannou. Also, on the list is Israel Adesanya, who maybe is at the top of it. Not only are both fighters compatriots in name but also consider each other ‘brothers’ in real life.

‘The Nigerian Nightmare’ in an interview made it clear that he won’t be fighting Adesanya and instead considered moving to the light heavyweight division to become a double champ.
