Fans saw the reigning middleweight champion traveling with featherweight champion Alexander Volkanovski in Australia. However, both of them were surprised to find Alex Pereira at the airport at the same time. Both Adesanya and Pereira shared a few posts regarding their unexpected run-in with each other on social media.

When ‘Poatan’ shared a video clip after bumping into Adesanya, both fighters were sharing a cordial conversation and greeting each other with fist bumps. He captioned his post: “Guess who I met at the airport?” While ”The Last Stylebender shared a post with the caption: “My life is a video game.” It was really one of the most hilarious things the UFC fans have witnessed in a long time.

Israel Adesanya might have had an amusing run-in with his long-time rival, he didn’t miss the opportunity to give Pereira a reminder. ‘The Last Stylebender’ took to Instagram and shared a story of the Brazilian at the airport and wrote: “FYI: I got the kill shot.” The message clearly indicates that Israel Adesanya is still relishing his UFC 287 win.

He reminded ‘Poatan’ that he should remember the fact that his first UFC loss came against Adesanya, with whom he had a flawless record. The Kiwi fighter followed that reminder up with a subsequent story about that airport encounter. He wrote, “Airports ain’t been the same since the ‘vid.'”
