The rivalry between middleweight champion, Israel Adesanya, and former light heavyweight champion, Jon Jones, seems never-ending, as the pair continue to take shots at each other in their media appearances.

‘The Last Stylebender’ appeared recently in an interview with The Rock where he talked about his lifestyle since fame, upcoming fights, and other interesting things.
While talking about his current lifestyle, where he sits among the famous people in the industry, Izzy slid a nasty dig on his nemesis, Jon Jones. He said, “I am living the crazy life, man, and it is crazy. I am still learning, I am still human. And I make mistakes. But I never make the same mistake more than once. I learn from my mistakes. That’s the difference between me and all the people who end up on TMZ.”
‘Bones’ is in the headlines several times for the things outside of the UFC octagon. Hence, Adesanya’s TMZ reference might be a sneaky dig at Jones’s situation.

Further in the interview, host Bryce Casey jokingly asked Adesanya if the TMZ name rhymes with Mon Hones, to which he replied by saying, “It could be like that.”
‘Bones’ is yet to make his heavyweight debut after he vacated the light heavyweight title in 2020. Meanwhile, the middleweight kingpin is preparing for his next bout.

He will take on the number two ranked fighter, Jared Cannonier, in the main event of UFC 276 on July 2, 2022. The pay-per-view will take place inside the T-Mobile Arena in Paradise, Nevada, Las Vegas.
