Israel Adesanya is one of the biggest names amongst the present UFC roster. The Nigerian-born fighter has gained a lot of popularity since his debut in 2017. His unique aura, attractive entrances, funky dance moves, and anime-inspired hand gestures have gained him a lot of popularity.
However, not everyone is a fan of his stylishness and swagger. And Adesanya responded to one of his critics with a dare. In a recent video, Israel Adesanya reacted to top UFC prospect Paddy Pimblett, calling his dance “mad” and “stupid”.

The host David Adesanya showed Adesanya a clip of Pimblett expressing his views on ‘The Last Stylebender.’ “I like Israel, I like his style I like his personality as well I just don’t like the mad stupid dances he does when he comes out. All that choreographed s**t,” said Pimblett.
The UFC middleweight champion took that personally and chose the Michael Jordan way. He dared the British fighter to try doing the same in the biggest fight of his career. While doing that, he also took a dig at his upcoming opponent, Rodrigo Vargas.
Adesanya said, “He should do that. I dare him to fucking do a whole entrance on the biggest fight of his life. Not talking this fight, this ain’t the biggest fight of his life yet. He’s fighting a motherf**ker that’s 1-2. He’s getting fed a bum. Yeah, I dare him to try something like that and then fight and do what I did.”

However, the 32-year-old fighter later praised the youngster and said, “We’ll see, we’ll see. He’s good. And they [UFC] are gonna push him because he’s gonna sell… but… he can do very well.”
Pimblett will look to secure his second UFC win on the trot at the upcoming UFC London event.
Israel Adesanya to face Jared Cannonier next
‘The Last Stylebender’ is as good a fighter as he is an entertainer. Adesanya (22-1) is still undefeated in the middleweight division, as his only career loss came in the light heavyweight division when Jan Blachowicz successfully defended his title at UFC 259.
Adesanya has taken on many top names in the middleweight division, including the veteran Anderson Silva, and Robert Whittaker twice. Since his last win at UFC 271, many have been wondering who will be his next title challenger. At last, they have an answer.

While appearing on Ariel Helwani’s show, he declared who his next opponent is going to be. And as many had expected, it is Jared Cannonier. Adesanya is yet to face ‘The Killa Gorilla’ and it makes sense for UFC to pit the two against each other.
“He [Jared Cannonier] is going to be next. No, he is next. I’ve set him up before. He fumbled that back. So now he, he’s on, so I feel like I’m a man of my word. He’s next,” revealed ‘The Last Stylebender’.
