Ian Garry on all the bashing he gets online

Ian Garry had to drop out of his UFC 296 bout due to a sudden health issue. Later, it was revealed that the fighter was down with Pneumonia and his young son was having similar symptoms. Since then, the internet has not done much to quash the hate.

Now, Garry has appeared on an episode of The MMA Hour Show with Dana White’s favorite journalist, Ariel Helwani. Garry opened up about all the hate he gets. He spoke about how getting flamed in his profession was regular, but going after family means crossing a line.

Garry took a shot at Neil Magny’s relationship with his kids

Before defeating Neil Magny at UFC 292, Ian Garry participated in accusing Magny of abusing his children. All of it based on when Magny spoke about “whooping” one’s son and being accustomed to it now that he was a father. Garry was quick to take a dig at it with an X post where he said:

“Beating your child is not cool to brag about at a press conference.” Clearly, Garry missed the beat on his own point. Fans have accused ‘The Future’ of not being able to handle what he dished out against Magny who would later admit his troubles going through a custody battle. Will Ian Garry ever overcome the hate? There’s no way to tell. One can only wait until his next fight.
