Iconic UFC commentator Joe Rogan is one of the most influential internet personalities with his podcast, The Joe Rogan Experience. It is the biggest podcast on Spotify, with millions of listeners per episode. He likes to discuss various matters of current affairs of sports, politics, and International affairs with his distinguished guests.

Joe Rogan is an outspoken figure with wide knowledge in many areas and he loves to express them on his own platform. Recently, he invited the American rock duo The Black Keys on his podcast and discussed various things with them.

During the podcast, Rogan displayed his worry about the international scenario building around Ukraine and Russia’s ongoing conflict. He said, “And when I say the brink of war for almost nothing what I mean is that there’s… it didn’t have to happen. This is like Russia doing that, invading Ukraine there’s no reason to do that. The whole thing is insane. They were that close to a hot war again. It freaks me the f*ck out, all the time.”

“Cause I’m like this just didn’t have to happen. This totally didn’t have to happen. It’s not like somebody launched missiles at you like there’s been some back and forth, this is an invasion. That’s what so weird about it. Watching a country get invaded by Russia is like ‘woah’, its f*cking weird,” he explained.

“I think it ramps up the normal level of anxiety of people like many points. I know it does mine cause I’m like you know its been a while nothing seems to have happened. I’m like you can get real comfortable like thinking its gonna be fine. Bleh nothing’s gonna happen. It’s all bunch of bluster and then all the sudden BOOM! BOOM!”

Rogan clearly looked uncomfortable while speaking about it as he explained to The Black Keys why all this makes him anxious.

Joe Rogan explains why MMA is more damaging than NFL

Apart from being a podcast host, Joe Rogan is a longtime UFC color commentator and a legend of the promotion. As a result, he has a deep knowledge and understanding of the mental and physical impact of the sport on athletes.

He once made a comparison of the gruesome effects of MMA on fighters with that of NFL athletes. While being a full-contact sport, football is an extremely physical and injury-prone sport despite all the protection.

He called MMA the “most wild, crazy, exciting, but ultimately physically damaging game.” However, according to Joe Rogan, it is much more exhausting psychologically.
