UFC middleweight champion Israel Adesanya is one of the most influential MMA fighters in the world and also a youth icon. Hence, he gets asked about all things fighting. In this case, ‘The Last Stylebender’ had to provide his views on the Jake Paul versus Dana White debacle that revolves around fellow African champion Francis Ngannou.

On the MMA Hour with UFC analyst Ariel Helwani, ‘The Last Stylebender’ said, “I like what Jake was doing. He was kinda like poking the bear a bit and he did spark some… the conversation; you know. He sparked the conversation because it needed to happen and, with Francis as well, the coj***s on him. He was just like, f**k this I am gonna say everything and he just put it out there.”
“So, I respect that and I felt like Jake [Paul], he played his part and I like what he’s doing with promotion. He’s promoter Jake now. So, he’s doing his own thing, and yeah, respect to him.”

The current middleweight champion is not one to zip his mouth while he expresses his views and is outspoken in every interview. Adesanya and ‘The Problem Child’ share a good relationship, as is evident by their constant mentions of each other over social media channels.

Jake Paul wanted Israel Adesanya to fetch $7 million for UFC 271
‘The Problem Child’ Paul is on good terms with Israel Adesanya and that is clear by what both of them say about each other.
Just a few days before Adesanya’s title defense against rival Robert Whittaker, ‘The Problem Child’ showcased his support for ‘The Last Stylebender’ and rallied for the champion to receive a huge payout.

The number that he mentioned ($7 million) was significantly higher than what Francis Ngannou got for his first title defense.
