The UFC president, Dana White, often shocks the MMA world with his decisions. One such decision of his that shook the entire UFC welterweight division was White deciding, Colby Covington, as the next title challenger. Covington became the backup for the clash between Kamaru Usman and Leon Edwards at UFC 286. The bout was indeed a thrilling spectacle for many. Soon after the battle between ‘The Nigerian Nightmare’ and ‘Rocky,’ the UFC boss decided on the next title challenger. When other welterweights came across the news, they were quite upset about White’s decision. Belal Muhammad was the one who topped the upset list. He expected to get the next title shot against Edwards.

However, White was stubborn about ‘Chaos’ fighting Rocky. At the moment, UFC bantamweight star Sean O’Malley has come forward with a comparison between Edwards versus Covington and Edwards versus Khabib Nurmagomedov‘s teammate.
