‘It Was Really Crazy’- Angela Hill Details Up on Diego Sanchez Confrontation in Fighter Meeting

UFC strawweight Angela Hill opened up on the situation regarding Diego Sanchez and the controversial incident during the fighters’ meeting. ‘The Nightmare’, and his coach Joshua Fabia, had a heated exchange with the commentary crew of the UFC. Hill was present there too, as it was her first venture along with the UFC’s broadcasting team.
“Everyone was just a bit taken aback because Diego had a really great interview before that. Fabia just came in guns blazing. ‘Quit the sh*t talk,’ I was actually happy they posted it, I was really nervous that I had said something stupid or kinda came out of the pocket and said something that I shouldn’t have because it was my first fighter meeting,” said Hill in a recent interview.

“It was really crazy. I feel kind of lucky to have been there personally,” added ‘Overkill’. She also sided with her broadcasting partners, Megan Olivi and UFC lightweight Paul Felder, for their role during the incident.
Hill believes fighters are a few of the most vulnerable people on the planet, and most of them need support to keep their heads straight. Sanchez had split up with his wife not so long ago. ‘Overkill’ thinks that might have caused the outrage. She also added that she depends on her husband a lot to defend her in times of difficulty.
Angela Hill thinks Diego Sanchez’s marriage issues might have affected him
“He said it started with his (Diego’s) wife leaving him. And I was like, ‘Oh! Man, that has to be rough.‘” said Hill. ‘Overkill’ also said that Sanchez found Fabia as a guide in his life during a tough time. That’s why he feels so attached to him, despite the rest of the MMA community trashing the trainer.

“I think he found Fabia at a time he was very vulnerable, and I think that could happen to anyone. So, yes, not weird at all. I actually hope he can find happiness with what he is doing right now. But yeah, it makes sense,” Hill concluded.
