Vicente Luque vs. Rafael dos Anjos is going to generate a thrilling contest among the fans. Originally scheduled to take place on July 15, the battle was eventually postponed. With the arrival of D-Day, another gripping story has popped into the scenario.

Well, dos Anjos recently went on to be part of a YouTube interview. He kind of seemed confident while passing a blunt statement, considering his upcoming bout against Vicente Luque. Perhaps he had a spoiler for the viewers regarding his fight.

Dos Anjos appeared to be the center of attention during an extended conversation with TMZ Sports, as he had an interesting statement to make. He spoke in a completely confident manner when discussing his forthcoming main event fight. Well, the conversation began when he was asked about his upcoming fight against Luque. In light of the fight, he had a slightly unusual yet direct remark.

The 38-year-old initially hailed Luque because of his MMA prowess, saying, “Yeah! I think it would be a war. Vicente is a guy that walks forward. Good ground game, good wrestling. He has very good striking. Uh very good overall well-rounded fighter.” However, he had something bold following his praise.

He further said, “But I don’t think this fight is going decision. I have more experience for five rounds fight. But yeah I am looking forward to the match. Put on a great performance, push the pace, and just be me, be first and I am pretty sure I am going to get a W.”

Dos Anjos’ statement clarified that he was aiming to prevail in the battle. He said that the fight wouldn’t even go to a decision, thus he intended to dominate Luque and knock him out. In fact, as per an MMA legend, Dos Anjos is indeed going to be an uphill climb for Luque at Vegas because of a psychological factor that could hinder Luque.

While expressing his views on ‘The War Room’, MMA legend Dan Hardy laid it straight about a potential obstacle that could hinder the ride for Vicente Luque. Hardy highlighted the genuine chance that Luque would run across a psychological roadblock. He said, “It might trigger that anxiety that he’s got from, any anxiety that he may have from his last fight.”

Well, Hardy intended to highlight Luque’s previous defeat, which came against none other than Geoff Neal last year. Simultaneously, taking on a respected senior and the recent loss that caused some major health issues may prove to be crucial factors in determining Luque’s performance.
