Jon Jones is one of the biggest names in Mixed Martial Arts. He has had his fair share of controversies outside the octagon, but inside it, he is one of the best ever. Jones is a former two-time UFC light heavyweight champion and is undefeated in his last 18 fights. ‘Bones’ has also defended his title a record 11 times. He relinquished his title earlier this year, wanting to compete in the heavyweight division.

Jon Jones is not the only successful athlete in his family. His brother, Chandler Jones, plays for Arizona Cardinals in the NFL. He is a former Super Bowl champion with the New England Patriots. Recently, the Outside Linebacker broke the Arizona Cardinals sack record. During a game against the San Francisco 49ers, he got his 67th sack with the Cardinals.

His brother after this feat took to Twitter and said, “Just had an amazing conversation with Chandler, it’s amazing that he now knows what it feels like to be considered TBE, it’s an amazing feeling, cool to have that in common with my childhood roommate.”

What has Jon Jones been up to?

Jones has not competed in the UFC since February 2020. His last fight was against Dominick Reyes, which he won via a unanimous decision. With the win, he defended his UFC light heavyweight title and later vacated it.

Since then, he has clarified that he wants to compete in the heavyweight division. However, no fight has materialized yet. Despite not having any fights, Jones has been in the news, though for the wrong reasons. Recently he was arrested for domestic battery and felony tampering with a vehicle. After the incident, he was suspended from his long-time gym, Jackson-Wink gym, and Jones recently made a statement regarding that.
