Henry Cejudo is arguably one of the most successful fighters in the sport of mixed martial arts. Before his time at the UFC, Cejudo was an Olympic gold medalist in wrestling. ‘The Messenger’ is the only individual in history to ever win a UFC title as well as an Olympic gold medal.

Cejudo was a double champion at the UFC. He held the flyweight and the bantamweight belt at the same time. Ahead of what turned out to be his final fight, he relinquished the flyweight strap and focused on the 135 lbs belt.
After his retirement, Henry Cejudo has still stayed relevant in the UFC news. The 16-2 fighter often goes on rants and calls out many fighters on the roster.

However, recently we got to see another side of ‘The Messenger’. Cejudo took to his Instagram to ask his fans for help, in the form of prayers.

Will we ever see Henry Cejudo in the octagon again?
Henry Cejudo retired from the UFC right after his fight against Dominick Cruz at UFC 249 last year. The fighter definitely ended his UFC career on a brilliant note and left behind an impressive legacy. However, after he announced his retirement, many fans speculated that he will return to fighting sooner or later.

Earlier this year Cejudo announced that he will return to the octagon to fight against the current UFC featherweight champion, Alexander Volkanovski. However, there hasn’t been any official follow-up news ever since the announcement.
