Last week, the Democratic National Convention (DNC) became the talk of the town, not for its official proceedings, but for an individual basis involving vice-presidential candidate Tim Walz. A viral video showed Walz yanking his son Gus Walz’s arm on stage. Gus has a non-verbal learning disorder and an anxiety disorder. This incident sparked controversy and criticism of Walz’s empathy towards people with disabilities, catching the attention of Joe Rogan.

In his latest podcast episode, ‘ The Joe Rogan Experience (#2197), Rogan thus revealed to his guest Mike Baker the true reason behind Tim Walz yanking and pulling his son’s arm on stage. These days, the UFC commentator and podcaster has become quite vocal about the fake edited videos going viral on the internet, often spread by big media houses to push their propaganda and manipulate upcoming election results.

Rogan and his guest discussed the trend of posting edited fake videos to achieve political ambitions. The podcaster then brought up the recent Tim Walz incident, saying, “There were some people who posted a deceptively edited video that made it look like Tim Welz, you know, he has a son some disabilities, was yanking his son in a mean way. But he was really just trying to prevent his son from hitting his head on the teleprompter.”

Rogan further emphasized how painful it would have been for the boy if he had smashed into the teleprompter. He said, “ The teleprompter is this clear thing, and the kid was walking towards it, so he just gave him a pull, like, ‘ Let’s go this way.’ They took that clip and turned it into, ‘Oh, I bet he’s mean. Look, he’s mean to his bot. It’s creepy.’

Joe Rogan’s take appears spot on, as the edited video doesn’t show the full picture. When Tim Walz accepted the nomination for vice president, Gus Walz seemed overjoyed, which counters the critics who claimed that Walz did not treat his son properly. Meanwhile, it’s not only political figures who are targeted by propaganda; even our beloved podcaster and commentator is also not immune to these ongoing manipulative tactics.

When MSNBC posted an edited video of Joe Rogan

Joe Rogan’s world was turned upside down when he learned that the reputed media house MSNBC had deceptively edited a video of him, making it seem like he was a Kamala Harris supporter, who was recently chosen as a presidential candidate for the upcoming election. In reality, Rogan was praising Tulsi Gabbard. This led to speculation that Rogan wanted to file a lawsuit, but he dismissed these claims.

In a recent podcast episode with American neurologist Andrew Huberman, Rogan stated, “MSNBC did this recently, and this has become so popular that my stepdad contacted me to say he’s happy I’m suing MSNBC. I’m like, ‘I’m not suing MSNBC. they just deceptively edited the things that I was saying, took it completely out of context.” After this incident, many came to Rogan’s support, including Tulsi Gabbard, who vigorously criticized MSNBC on her social media handles, calling it a “Propaganda machine.”
