Dana White has come under scrutiny for not paying his athletes enough. The issue of financial compensation has been brought up on multiple occasions. Fighters have relentlessly been complaining about having to manage two careers to support their fighting dream. Even celebrity figures who aren’t involved with MMA seem to be rallying for the same cause. In light of this issue, many fighters have taken up alternate jobs. One such MMA fighter recently revealed how quickly her OnlyFans career helped her surpass her UFC earnings.

Paige VanZant, the former flyweight fighter, recently appeared on the Only Stans podcast. Interviewed by host Glenny Balls, she was asked about her earnings with the UFC and with OnlyFans. After confirming that she did indeed make more money outside of the UFC a grateful VanZant talked about the success she has been able to accumulate in her life. She said, “There’s a lot of stuff I’ve done in my career, but I’ve been really fortunate that my career, even outside of the UFC and outside of fighting, has been pretty successful.”

She addressed her vision of becoming a mainstream personality. In the chat, she also confirmed that OnlyFans significantly increased her revenue especially when compared to her fighting career. The ex-UFC fighter wrote, “I’ve worked pretty hard in other industries and trying to cross over to I guess more of a mainstream personality. But yes, OnlyFans has definitely been my largest source of income.” She elaborated, “I would say combined in my fighting career, I think I made more money in 24 hours on Only Fans than I had in my entire fighting career combined. 24 hours.”

Ex-UFC Fighter on the difficulty of walking away
After the astounding revelation, VanZant talked about the difficult feeling of walking away from fighting. She said, “And so that’s why it’s hard as a person. Like I, you know, was nervous about the stigma, but now it’s hard to walk away.” VanZant also opened up about how her upbringing affects her state of mind about financial woes. VanZant elaborated, “But I feel like when you’re one of those people that you were born poor, you grew up poor and then you become rich, it’s almost like you always just feel poor. So you always want to continue to work hard.”

In the interview, Paige VanZant also talked about how grateful she was that things have turned out well for her. She expressed her gratitude for being able to provide for her family and to be a source of support for them. She said, “I am lucky I’m in a position where I have been able to help my family; my husband and I help our family, and we do everything we can to bring everybody up to the table.” As time progresses, fans will wait and see what’s next in store for the former Flyweight fighter.
