However, fans have raised a lot of doubts about his credibility as a threat to the middleweight division after a video went viral on social media. In an old fight, ‘Shara Bullet’ was seen taking on a considerably smaller opponent, who looked almost half his size. As soon as the bell rang, both fighters approached each other. When Magomedov’s opponent attempted to perform a single-leg takedown, he immediately caught him with a knee that dropped the smaller opponent. He followed it up with a flurry as the referee called for the fight to stop. Fans had a lot to say about this fight.

  • Lol wtf? He fighting children?
  • Sh*t like this is why I cringe whenever I hear crap of the “Size Doesn’t Matter In A Fight” variety. This isn’t even something I can fight at this point. It’s just legal bullying.
  • This. Mad props to our possibly deceased hero in black trunks.
  • They’re gonna let Bo Nickal wreck this fool to gain some fans back
  • His opponent is taking the Ben askren approach
  • that was a beautifully timed knee tho… but for sure his opponent was a lot smaller
  • I hope he gets chinned bad, and I hope its by someone who loves public displays of affection

A Reddit user praised the smaller fighter for taking the fight to the Dagestani middleweight. One fan believes that the UFC might set up a fight between Magomedov and highly rated prospect Bo Nickal in the future. Moreover, a user took a jibe at the smaller opponent, claiming that he took the same route Ben Askren took against Jorge Masvidal. One fan even expressed his disdain towards Magomedov and recalled how he assaulted a couple earlier this year.
