The legendary rapper Snoop Dogg has just quit the one thing he’s known for perhaps even more than his music. That’s right, Snoop Dogg recently announced that he will be going off of the “smoke”. He has asked fans to give him and his family some privacy and UFC’s Conor McGregor is all for it.

In true ‘Notorious’ style, McGregor took to X to speak out about it. He put up his usual voice notes talking about how inhaling marijuana or any type of cancer-causing substance is just not it. He congratulated the rapper he met very recently for a show in Dublin. In fact, McGregor revealed his own struggles with the substance. Here’s the story.

Conor McGregor and Snoop Dogg are an odd pair. However, the two came together in Dublin when the former went there for a show. McGregor invited the rapper to his Black Forge Inn bar and restaurant and many pictures were clicked of the two.

Now, ‘Snoop’ has announced his retirement from smoking marijuana. McGregor himself has been seen with the substance before as he posted pictures of himself smoking it or preparing to do so. Now, he has advice for everyone out there. And a question for everyone who “inhales” substances.

“That’s the way,” McGregor said lauding Snoop Dogg’s decision. “Because carcinogenics into the chest, no matter what it is, is a no. And I’m off it now a few weeks here in the middle East. And I’m feeling so much better for it. I’ve had pockets of difficulty with it but you know, what type of athlete, what type of human being trying to get the best of themselves would inhale carcinogenics to the chest? It’s stupidity is what it is…Bravo Snoop I wish you all the best.”

Clearly, a man who knows what’s good for himself. McGregor and Snoop certainly looked like the best of friends when the two were spotted together in Ireland. With his new quest to get off of smoking, Snoop Dogg has ended a habit that became synonymous with him. Here’s how he announced it all.
