Joe Rogan expresses concerns over women’s cosmetic surgery trends

In the year 2022, these statistics showcased that the cosmetics procedure alone in the United States amounted to a massive $11.8 billion out of which a significant portion was ͏contributed by Cosmetic surgery, generating $8.5 billion U.S. dollars. The industry has been flourishing in the United States as well as around the world. The reason for their growth can be rooted in multiple things which also include people simply wanting to look better through surgery.

While having a conversation with Derek, a prominent fitness influencer, on episode number #2073 of ‘JRE’, Rogan emphasized that the number of attractive girls going through the process of cosmetic surgery in the United States is massive. “I’ve seen it with women many many times,” said Rogan.

He further added, “They just start going in, and a little bit of this. My nose is a little too long. And this is this girl that I knew, and I hadn’t seen her for a while. Uh, I saw her like two years later, and it looked like someone punched her in the face. Oh, ’cause she just had swollen cheeks ’cause she had decided to put filler in her face,” said Rogan.

Derek explained that young girls, to look younger, go through the process of cosmetic surgery and this surgery backfires on them. The girls in turn look older. “It’s weird, because I’ve seen some young, very attractive girls get plastic surgery, and they almost end up looking like an older woman.”

After listening to Derek’s justification Rogan had only one this to say. “It’s weird, yeah. It’s, well, you know, it’s body dysmorphia. You don’t see yourself the way other people see you.”. The JRE host is evidently not a fan of extensive cosmetic procedures and took up the ultimate example of it on JRE once.
