Jack Hermansson is set to return to the UFC in December. Ahead of his comeback, the Swedish fighter spoke to Submission Radio. He opened up on many things, one of which was how the possible light heavyweight title fight between Israel Adesanya and Jan Blachowicz would transpire.

‘The Joker’ said, “I really believe that Adesanya is gonna do very well in that fight. Even though Jan has looked incredibly powerful, I feel like Adesanya is gonna look better there than he is doing in the middleweight because he’s gonna be too quick and too precise. I don’t feel like Blachowicz has that speed and movement that you need to beat a guy like Adesanya. So I think Adesanya is gonna pick him apart.

It was a bold prediction on his part and only highlights how Adesanya’s divisional fighters view him.

Following his demolition of Paulo Costa, Israel Adesanya has been tipped to move up a weight class and take on 205 lbs champion Jan Blachowicz.

Robert Whittaker is waiting for his rematch against the champion. However, it seems that the Aussie might have to fight someone else to remain active in the UFC. Should Hermansson win his next fight, he could potentially fight ‘The Reaper’.

Jack Hermansson will fight Kevin Holland next weekend

Hermansson is scheduled to fight Kevin Holland in a clash of top middleweights at UFC on ESPN 19 on December 5. He was originally set to face Darren Till. But “The Gorilla” pulled out due to injury. Kevin Holland is also on the rise in the middleweight division. The winner will get a huge leap in terms of the standpoint of the division.

‘The Joker’ has been vocal in the past about his chances against Adesanya. He believes his wrestling heavy style will cause problems for the champion. Furthermore, he pointed out that ‘The Last Stylebender’ hasn’t faced anybody of his style yet. He claimed that he would be a stylistic nightmare for the champion.

Hermansson has managed 5 wins in his last 6 bouts in a stacked middleweight division. He is looking for a shot at the title in near future. A win over Kevin Holland will make his case stronger. What do you make of Hermansson’s prediction of Adesanya vs Blachowicz? Let us know in the comments.
