Jairzinho Rozenstruik is all set to take on Shamil Gaziev at UFC Fight Night on Sunday. The heavyweight fighter currently holds a record of 13-5-0 and will look to get back to winning ways. Jairzinho Rozenstruik was born in Paramaribo, Suriname. Suriname or the Republic of Suriname is a country which is located on the Northeastern Atlantic coast of South America and has a population of around 575,000.The Suriname population mainly focuses on the features of African, Asian and European diversity. Although, exact details of his ethnicity is, not known yet. It is believed that ‘ Bigi Boy’ is of Afro- Surinames descent. Rozenstruik is the first Surinamese Mixed Martial Arts fighter to compete in the UFC.

Jairzinho Rozenstruik vs Shamil Gaziev: UFC Fight Night

Both the heavyweight stars can end the fight via knockout. While Rozenstruik is coming off a loss in his previous fight, his challenger Gaziev put up a dominant show against Martin Buday on his UFC debut last year. The 34-year-old ended the fight via knockout in the second round, thus taking his tally to 12-0-0 in his career. Gaziev will be eager to keep his winning momentum going when he takes on ‘ Bigi Boy’.

The 35-year-old impressed one and all with his knockout victory in his debut. However, he lost his momentum after failing to find consistency in the promotion.
