Conor McGregor is always the talk of the town in the MMA world. The Irishman hasn’t fought since the loss against ‘The Diamond’ in July this year but always manages to grab headlines. Conor is well known in the UFC for his trash-talking abilities and his ‘Notorious’ personality. Once again, the former UFC champion has managed to break the internet. But this time around, for all the wrong reasons.

Conor McGregor is under an avalanche of criticism after reportedly assaulting a disc jockey during his night out in Rome. The 41-year-old DJ said he was attacked by the former two-division UFC champion with no provocation from him. Francesco Facchinetti stated that he would take McGregor to court since he could have harmed his wife, children, or other friends. The alleged strike from the Irishman left him with a bleeding nose and a cut inside his lip. “I took a punch for nothing. That punch could go to anyone. My friends, my wife or other friends. That’s why I decided to sue Conor McGregor because he is a violent and dangerous person,Facchinetti posted on his Instagram.

When Jake Paul heard about the altercation, he took a shot at the Irishman on Twitter. He slammed McGregor for punching the Italian musician and referred to him as “coked up.” He also had an additional request for the “Notorious.”

Somehow, Jake Paul is constantly present where the media’s focus is. Paul has always been vocal about his callout for Conor McGregor. Since demanding a boxing bout with him last year, Paul has made a series of foul-mouthed comments about Irishman. Whereas McGregor has paid no attention to Paul. Nonetheless, the internet star believes he will one day share the boxing ring with the UFC fighter.

What’s next for Conor McGregor?

Conor McGregor is presently recovering from a leg injury sustained in his UFC 264 trilogy battle with Dustin Poirier. He is on a six-month medical suspension that will ban him from competing until January 2022. He appeared to be recovering well following a successful operation.

Conor was spotted walking in public with his cane for assistance, but he also appeared to be fine without it. On the red carpet at the MTV Video Music Awards, McGregor almost got into a brawl with rapper Machine Gun Kelly. Conor was charging at the rapper without his walking cane during this incident. The Irishman recently updated his followers on his injured leg, posting promising images of his muscular calves on his Instagram, assuring fans he is recovering well.
