Alex Pereira looks rather well set to defend his UFC light heavyweight title at UFC 300. The main event of the pay-per-view came after much uproar from the fans to urge Dana White to stop the buildup and just give the fans what they wanted.

Now, Pereira has been training to defeat Jamahal Hill, the former light heavyweight champion of the world. Hill has recently shown his interest in knocking Pereira out when he was sitting down for a conversation with former UFC champ ‘Demetrious Johnson’.

However, in a stand up battle, ‘Poatan’ is vicious. Jamahal Hill, on the other hand, is coming from a devastating Achilles tendon injury. And now to top it all off, it looks like Alex Pereira has just outdone Francis Ngannou when it comes to sheer punching power.

That’s right, back in 2018, Ngannou set a terrifying punching power record of 129,161 which is a lot, to say the least. Now, in a recent video that went viral, Alex Pereira can be seen defeating ‘The Predator’ in terms of sheer scale and it was by a lot too.

Fans stood witness as the Brazilian powerhouse struck PowerKube with his right hand and scored about 191,796. That makes his power much more than the heavyweight and it wasn’t even his infamous left hook. Here’s how fans reacted to the video.

Fans see danger for Jamahal Hill after Alex Pereira’s record-breaking punch

UFC fans can be some of the most hilarious out there. Jamahal Hill is a true professional and a powerhouse in his own right but lately, Alex Pereira has become the fan favorite. Perhaps that’s the reason the scary display of power had fans worrying about Hill in sheer amazement.

Many fans remembered Dana White comparing Ngannou’s power to a Ford Escort going “as fast as it can.”

Clearly, Alex Pereira has a lot of fans adding up to his already high demand and hype. The power in his hand is certainly scary which is probably why his nickname means ‘hand of stone’. Perhaps a stand up battle between him and Hill would be a spectacle to witness. On the other hand, if Hill manages to wrestle with him, he could have an even greater chance of actually reclaiming the price that was once his. What are your thoughts on it?
