A fight between Joanna Jedrzejczyk and Rose Namajunas looks highly unlikely at the moment.

The fighters have previously faced each other twice for the Strawweight title. ‘Thug Rose’ won both the encounters and became the undisputed queen of the 115lbs division.

Although Jedrzejczyk is second on the ranking. She will have to prove her worth before getting her next title shot. Therefore, the fight between Carla Esparza and Rose Namajunas could actually happen before or after the rematch with Zhang Weili.
