Is ͏acting tougher than fightin͏g? For former dual-weight champion Conor McGregor, it certainly is. The former dua͏l-w͏eight ͏champion recently made his Hollywood d͏ebut with his movie a͏longside Jake͏ Gyllen͏haal. ‘Road House’ is a remake͏ of ͏the classic film of the same ͏name, w͏hich was released back in the ‘9͏0s. Conor Mcgregor, in one of his conversations, asserted that acting is tougher than fighting because it takes days for the final result to come.

This statement by ‘Notorious’ was heavily criticized by the multi-million dollar podcaster, Joe Rogan. In one of his podcasts, the 56-year-old went all out on McGregor and said, “Listen, okay act in Roadhouse or fight Khabib again. Shut the F*ck up. This is crazy talk.” Well, this was a direct attack by the podcaster on Conor McGregor but did the UFC star respond to it? Heck, yeah he did.

While͏ having a live convers͏ation with his͏ f͏ans on a streaming site with “Duelbi͏ts,” a fan asked ‘Mystic Mac’ about ͏his opinion on Rogan’͏s comments. The former dual-wei͏g͏ht champion stated that he would know better considering the fact that he has done both. “You know, Joe Rogan spoke on this. There’s no way it would be harder. Hey, who’s done them both? I’ve done them both. So I’m the man to speak on this, not you. You know it was fu*king hard work, Joe. That’s the truth, brother,” said McGregor.

He further added, “You’re talking long days, and you’re getting thrown around the place, diving off speedboats, holding on to the fucking anchor, getting dragged through the water, and then the 1000 takes of that. And then you get about 2-3 hours rest, and you are back in again. So it’s tough, man.” McGregor’s assessment seems to have resonated with the MMA community as they seem to have drawn their support from Joe Rogan.

Conor McGregor’s opinion holds higher for the fans than Joe Rogan

Starting off, a fan stated that unlike McGregor, who has done both, Rogan is someone who has neither competed professionally nor acted in movies.  In reality, even though Rogan has not competed in the UFC, he does have experience in Kickboxing and he was the former host of FearFactor.

“conor is right, joe who did neither of those 2 things is just talking nonsense”

Well, usually Conor McGregor smokes everyone on the mic with his ‘notorious’ behavior when refuting someone, but this time he seemed to be respectful towards Rogan.

“Lol he was respectful this time”

Furthermore, a fan seems to have a big thing to say about the UFC athletes. According to him, an average man does more work than a UFC fighter who only fights for 25 minutes. Well, the statement can be proven wrong considering the fact that the fighters spend hours almost  everyday working on their craft in the gym.

“25 mins of a dude tryna hug his back or 12 hours on set of physical work.. your average, honest people work harder everyday than UFC fighters.”

Khabib Nurmagomedov was absolutely dominant when he faced McGregor back in 2018 and in the end, he clinched the victory. Nonetheless, a fan finally seems to support Joe Rogan.

“Khabib was throwing him all around as well so sounds similar”

A fan seemed to be irritated by Rogan. Well, this is not the first time this has happened.

“Joe is starting to piss me off. What a lame dude”

Last but not least, a fan stated that Rogan indeed competed in kickboxing and Taekwondo before taking a stroll away from his fighting career. It must be noted that he has acted in some movies such as Here Comes The Boom (2012) and Zookeeper (2011).

“Joe is a kickboxing competitor/ Taekwondo champion and he was the host for fear factor….. I think he has some idea”

Nonetheless, the community seems to be divided in their approach considering the banter. What’s your take on their comments? State your thoughts in the comments below.
