There’s no easy way of saying it other than just saying it. It’s not easy to make it in the UFC. Fighters spend years achieving professional victories to get into the promotion. And Pereira has done the same. However, no new fighter has advanced in the promotion as fast as the stone-faced emoji of the UFC has.
Recently, Cormier and Rogan took a moment to reflect on his career in the organization. Surprisingly, the fighter hasn’t fought as many matches as you would expect from a two-division champ. And that’s an impressive feat no matter how you put it out there.
“Normally when you have like 11 fights you’re on the prelims if you’re even in the UFC,” said Cormier. “This guy is now champion in two weight divisions, he has two of the three highest grossing pay-per-views as a headliner in Madison Square Garden history.
