UFC color commentator Joe Rogan was a close observer of the infamous Johnny Depp-Amber Heard trial. The 54-year-old appeared invested in the entire fiasco as he mentioned it almost in all of his JRE episodes during the trial. However, after a conversation with the Shazam movie star, Zachary Levi, Rogan might have a different opinion about the trial’s live airing.

While having a conversation involving Hollywood stars and acting, Rogan expressed Hollywood has some excellent actors. Besides, he jokingly added, “Sometimes we get to watch it on trial.”
This led to a discussion of the famous Amber Heard-Johnny Depp trial that caught the world’s attention. Rogan wondered, “How wild that they had a relationship trial – this is who was more f**ed up in the relationship; Let’s show the whole world.”

The 41-year-old actor added, “I don’t know how I feel about that… Like, there’s a part of me that just wishes that nobody would really care about any of that drama as it unfolds because it’s not pertinent to anybody’s life really or making the world a better place.”

The 2-decade vet UFC announcer said, “Everybody wants to know what everybody else thinks about it. That trial is a perfect thing to have a reaction video. Because there’s so many moments in that.”
Joe Rogan speculated Johnny Depp wanted it public
Levi called the airing of the live trial a circus. To which, Spotify’s number one podcast host expressed, “I think he wanted the circus, because the circus exposes the truth. I think that was the only way to expose the truth but to get her to talk about stuff on camera and he felt like she would kind of fall apart.”

Yet the Shazam actor said, “That could’ve been done just in the courtroom, without it airing to the rest of the world. All that stuff would have been said on some cameras that are recording in that room.”

Levi said, “I feel like it’s making us – less empathetic, ultimately… Like you’re saying that they’re having a marital dispute; We’re all getting brought in on their nonsense; not nonsense their sh**, their traumas all that stuff. And everyone just gets to sit around eating popcorn and judging the entire fiasco because it’s entertainment now?”
“It’s like everything is content and everything is entertainment,” the Hollywood star added.
Earlier, the JRE host wondered who got the ‘advertising money’ for the streams. Also, people making reaction videos and earning $60,000 a month shocked Rogan.
