UFC commentator Joe Rogan presents a lot of interesting conversations on his podcast, The Joe Rogan Experience. His podcast is a significant part of what boosted his popularity on a global scale. In addition to hosting a podcast and doing stand-up comedy, Rogan occasionally appears on other shows as well.

Recently, he made an appearance on Tom Segura’s ‘2 Bears, 1 Cave’ podcast. Rogan was filling in for Segura’s usual co-host, Bert Kreischer. The pair swapped hilarious stories and had interesting conversations, including one on UFC Heavyweight champion Francis Ngannou’s chances in boxing.

Joe Rogan tells Tom Segura about Francis Ngannou’s insane punching power
Discussing punching power in boxing, Joe Rogan and Tom Segura talked about Deontay Wilder. Rogan said that Wilder won a bronze medal in Olympic boxing with just a year and a half of training. He pointed out that Wilder achieved Olympic success with very little training and power that was “just like from God!”

“So if a guy like that exists [Wilder], then a guy like Francis, if a guy like Francis just went right into boxing, no MMA ever, doesn’t have to learn how to kick, just has to learn head movement, learn how to put punched on people. 270! Natural! Giant! Insane power!”

Talking more about the UFC heavyweight champion, Rogan said that he grew up doing manual labor. Rogan called him a super athlete and said that he had to work in sand mines as a child. “He’s 270, natural, and hits harder than anybody,” Rogan said.

The pair also discussed Ngannou’s record for the hardest punch ever. Ngannou’s overhand right generated 129,000 units. Looking at the numbers, Rogan said, “His overhand right is like a right high-kick… His punch is the same level as like a really good kicker’s kick.”

Rogan humbled one of Tom Segura’s staff in arm wrestling
At the beginning of the same episode, Joe Rogan and Tome Segura had a laugh about an incident that occurred before the show began. One of Segura’s staff members wanted to challenge Rogan to arm wrestling. This individual, who they called ‘delusional’ said he had never lost in an arm-wrestling match.

Segura said this individual told him he could not lose if someone challenged him. Segura added it was a part of this individual’s persona to be so cocky. Rogan said that it was a “crazy, delusional form of confidence.” He joked that “it wasn’t even a little difficult” to beat him in arm wrestling.
