

UFC Icon and popular podcast host, Joe Rogan has seemingly become a controversial name in recent times. The masses mostly loved the former host of a popular tv-show, for educating them about mixed martial arts and bringing weekly dose action with his podcasts.

In a conversation with Tom Papa (episode #1789), Rogan is a fan of anything and everything that can make you laugh and he believes the world will no longer be able to digest R-comedies, and hence they are no more.
Joe Rogan misses the good old R-rated comedic films
According to a report by cracked, Rogan stated that things have drastically changed. It has become increasingly difficult to put the right kind of jokes out without compromising the quality or attracting negative reactions to the product.
He said, “Wokeness killed the comedy movie in a lot of ways, what was the last good comedy movie that was released?” He continued, “It used to be you would be able to (say) Something About Mary, Kingpin, you could just snap them off.”

He also reiterated that only a couple of noteworthy movies that follow this daring formula came out in the past decade. Nodding at, In the end, starred by Jonah Hill, Seth Rogen, James Franco, and it also had a small cameo role by Emma Watson. Rogan believes the world is not the same place it used to be for comedic movies, and putting one together would be a major hassle, but acknowledged that there is still a market for such films.

Rogan says, “But there’s a weird thing that happens when you’re making fun of something,” He continued, “like it’s supposedly an endorsement. The backlash would be absolutely real. How many people would get canceled because of it? How many people would get attacked because of it? How bad would the studio get protested?”
