The recent debate between Donald Trump and Kamala Harris has proved to be a big setback for the Republicans. Controversial statements such as Haitians eating cats and dogs derailed Trump’s validity in the much-anticipated event. However, supporters of the former President of the United States are now trying their best to explain the one-sidedness of the debate. And they’re doing it by claiming that Kamala Harris was wearing a hi-tech piece of jewelry that ‘rigged’ the event.

A Twitter post by a user with more than half a million followers stated that the Democrat candidate was being trained by wearing headphones embedded in her earrings during the debate. You just know a conspiracy is truly gaining traction when it reaches the ears of Joe Rogan. The UFC commentator talked about the hi-tech piece on his podcast.

In one of his recent editions of the Joe Rogan Experience, Rogan was joined by Tom Segura as they discussed the presidential debate. Being the conspiracy hunter that he is, the UFC commentator brought the cat out of the bag. “What is going on with the earrings? Do you know about this earring controversy? So, there are people that believe what she was wearing last night was the type of earring they use for; um, it’s like an earpiece. Where you can talk through it. So someone can talk to her. So someone can coach her.”

The earpiece in question is the NOVA H1 Audio Earrings, a device that was being sold on a Kickstarter page last year. According to Rogan, the earrings Harris wore looked exactly like the product. As a result, the JRE host has asked the Democrat to allow an investigation to prove that she did not wear the gadget. “It’s kind of cool; it’s cool because I like all that spy, espionage-type stuff. But, uh, if she really did do that, first of all, she didn’t do that. Bring those earrings; allow them to be investigated, please. Sure, just the ones that you wore.”

The theory quickly gained traction when several conspiracy theorists and supporters of the Republican Party spread the theory like wildfire. Even former congressional candidates such as Laura Loomer have jumped on the bandwagon as they cast a spotlight on the theory. But did Harris actually wear the futuristic gadget?

Conspiracy theory involving Kamala Harris gets debunked

In actuality, there is no evidence to prove that the earrings worn by Kamala Harris in the presidential debate are wireless headphones. In fact, they rather look like the Tiffany HardWear earrings that Kamala often wears at political events. While the social media posts claim that the earrings in question are the NOVA H1 audio earrings from the company Icebach Sound Solutions, the company’s founder and CEO, Malte Iversen, has confirmed to USA Today that those earrings are “sold out.”

In addition, this model is different from the one worn by Harris in the face-to-face against Trump. In addition, the futuristic earpiece does not have the two gold bars that the Tiffany earrings worn by Kamala Harris have. The American fact-checker Snopes, taking photographs of the debate, stressed that, unlike the earrings worn by the Democrat, the audio earrings attributed to her were “clipped.” Well, it sure looks like theory has been put to rest. But what do you think? Will Kamala Harris start an investigation to clear her name? Let us know in the comments.
