Joe Rogan showed concerns about the Elon Musk and Twitter deal, actually coming to fruition earlier on his podcast occasionally. And now, the reports suggest that the Tesla & SpaceX CEO ended the $44 billion deal.

The massive deal caught a lot of attention from the world media. While the billionaire’s fans hoped for a change in the social media platform with his mind coming on board, the JRE host gave a scoop on what was happening between Twitter and his friend, Elon Musk.

On his famed podcast, The Joe Rogan Experience, #1819, the JRE host sat down with Cameron Hanes, and the two discussed a plethora of topics. And during their conversation when Joe Rogan cheekily brought up the topic of fake followers on social media.

Rogan shifted the fake followers’ issue to the Elon Musk and Twitter deal. Rogan said, “That’s the one thing they found out on Twitter. Elon put the hold on the Twitter purchase. He’s like, ‘hey how many f***ing fake followers do you guys have?”

And while the guest and his show’s producer, Jamie Vernon, talked about how the microblogging site uses 100 accounts to conclude about how many fake followers there are on the platform (5% according to Twitter).

The standup comic revealed, “He [Elon Musk] got in trouble for saying that because he violated the NDA.”

And now the news came out that the billionaire Musk would not go through with the astounding $44 billion deal. The reason being the social platform couldn’t provide all the fake account details to Musk.

Even on episode #1830 of the renowned JRE podcast, with the guest, Meghan Murphy, Joe Rogan, brought fake accounts as a reason the tech giant could back out of the Twitter deal.

Earlier, a report from the Washington post offered Twitter to provide bots data over to Tesla CEO.

Rogan submitted the scenario between Twitter and Elon Musk as intriguing. He also labeled Musk as a ‘free speech absolutist’. And while reacting to the news of Musk’s purchase of Twitter on JRE episode #1809, he expressed happiness about the same.
