UFC commentator Joe Rogan is known for speaking his mind. However, this has also resulted in issues for him a few times. His podcast ‘The Joe Rogan Experience’ came under fire as the medical community was not happy with him.

However, in a new episode of his podcast with his guest Jake Shields, Rogan expressed that he was not happy with Stephen Colbert. As reported by ‘Newsweek’, the discussion around Colbert began after Rogan reflected on his own career.

Rogan felt that he would not have been popular if he were a comedian in a different era. In addition to this, he revealed that he would never be given a late-night gig as a talk-show host. Further, Rogan and Shields talked about their mutual distaste for Colbert.

Talking about the same, Shields said, “It’s sad seeing like Stephen Colbert because I used to think that he was funny. And seeing him now is cringe.”

Rogan agreed with his guest and replied, “He’s weird, right?”

The reason for both the personalities not liking Colbert is the 2021 skit that he performed on ‘The Late Show with Stephen Colbert’. During the show, he danced with humans who were dressed as vaccines. Additionally, the lyrics of‘Tequila’ were changed to suit their skit.

Therefore, Rogan was not happy with it. He said, “That was strange. I want to be in the meeting when they pitched that. Like, where’s the joke? People are gonna watch this?”

Jake Shields went on to say that Colbert must have done it for some fame and money. So it is clear that both weren’t amused by what they saw.
