“One of the baddest motherfuckers to ever walk the face of the earth, and one of the coolest dudes as well! The great and powerful @blessedmma” wrote Joe Rogan. The 56-year-old podcaster jumped from his seat when he witnessed Holloway knocking out Gaethje at the final second, however, Holloway added that Gaethje dropped him first.

Max Holloway explains how he was dropped by Justin Gaethje

Holloway and Gaethje’s fight was a neck-to-neck fight, however, ‘Blessed’ made it one-sided with his proper technique but there was an instance in the match where people thought ‘Blessed’ was in a rough position. Joe Rogan in his conversation asked Holloway about the knockdown and added what did he think about this. Responding to this question, Holloway said, “It didn’t count as a drop, which is crazy,” said Holloway. He further added, “Bro, all I remember is getting hit by that punch, and then, like I sat, I came back up and I was like, what the f*** did he just do to me? I was like ‘holy sh***’ that was a good punch… I was fine as soon as I got up… But I don’t know how that didn’t count as a drop”

With the win against Gaethje, Holloway has just opened new doors of opportunities for himself. He has multiple fights he can take, but which one will be his choice, only time has the answer.
