Rogan is known to talk about every possible topic in ‘The Joe Rogan Experience’. In the recent JRE episode, he believed that the Kanye West controversy was a tragedy. Furthermore, the UFC commentator revealed his love for Ye’s songs.

Joe Rogan reveals Kanye West makes powerful songs

In the JRE episode #1898, Joe Rogan invited the comic, actor, writer, director, and producer, Neal Brennan. Following the various topics, as usual, the two stumbled upon medications that are prescribed for mental health. However, these topics led to Kanye West and his recent controversy.

Brennen said that the medication takes the high off. He said, “It gets rid of the low, but it gets rid of the high, and the high is f**king glorious.”  

Rogan said, “Yeah, you don’t want that numb middle. That’s what they put Kanye on, right?” He recalled the moment when the rapper was in a mental health facility. Although he went in to get better, he lost his high which probably affected his behavior. Rogan continued, “That was when he came out, he was just kind of like, just…”

Nonetheless, Brennan agreed, “Kanye on medication is a tragedy.” Moreover, Rogan concurred and said, “Kanye off medication has the potential to create some bomb-a** songs.”

Apart from being trapped in controversial situations, West indeed made some really powerful music. Brennan revealed that he recently heard a Kanye West song and was utterly impressed. Furthermore, Rogan came out to be a fan of the rapper, as well. Rogan said, “That coming out with just words.” The podcaster believed that Ye’s songs were powerful. 

However, the UFC commentator also believed such things to be nuanced. He said, “… Like how much, how much reading and thinking are you doing on these subjects and how much you just use to espousing your opinions on things, with full confidence all the time. Things like that are very nuanced and complicated.”
