Joe Rogan asks Georges St-Pierre about Khabib Nurmagomedov matchup

Both Georges St-Pierre and Khabib Nurmagomedov had close to 30 professional bouts; The former holds a record of 26-2, whereas the latter has a perfect 29-0 record. That said, ‘Rush’ has triple the UFC championship fights than ‘The Eagle’. Thus, fans hoped to see these two legends compete against each other.

Likewise, UFC color commentator Joe Rogan, on JRE MMA Show #107, asked St-Pierre if he would return in a contest against the Dagestan fighter.

‘Rush’ replied, “I would have. Now, it’s all over.”

Since both Khabib Nurmagomedov and Georges St-Pierre have retired, the fight fans would not get the privilege to see them go against each other inside the Octagon. However, recently, ‘Rush’ suggested he was open to a grappling contest against Nurmagomedov under certain circumstances.
