And the ‘Conor McGregor vs. USADA’ saga continues. This time, the comments have come from two such individuals who actually know a thing or two about supplementations and fitness in general, Joe Rogan and Derek from ‘More Plates More Dates’. Derek has been in the spotlight ever since his hour-long video, debunking the ‘Liver King’ hit YouTube.

The fitness educator appeared as the guest on the UFC commentator’s podcast, ‘The Joe Rogan Experience’, and the episode went exactly the way one would expect it to go. A lot of breakdowns on celebrity fitness took place in the episode and Conor McGregor was a hot topic in it.

Joe Rogan and Derek dived into the skin of the topic to figure out what could be the deal with the Irishman and came up with some interesting takes on the subject.

Conor McGregor did the impossible

During the conversation on the JRE, Derek from ‘More Plates More Dates’ told Joe Rogan how he couldn’t wrap his head around the fact that Conor McGregor was able to get out and back in the USADA pool so perfectly. For many other UFC fighters, he claimed, this was a scenario that was ‘impossible’.

Derek said, “It seems kind of odd that he(Conor McGregor), you know, was able to take himself out so perfectly and then is able to just enter back in. This is not something that I think even other UFC fighters were aware of as like, possible.” To that, Rogan added how big McGregor has gotten, “And (he) looks massive. He looks well over 200 pounds now”.

The UFC commentator added further in the conversation, “Not only that. He is taking off his shirt and posing constantly. And he looks like his piss would melt that USADA cup. Like, it would just burn a hole right through the bottom of that(cup).”

There have been many such claims about McGregor using PEDs whilst his hiatus. But nothing has come clear yet. Everything just leads to a bucket of many different speculations around the debate.

The USADA loophole

The discussion of the ‘Conor McGregor and USADA’ situation hasn’t necessarily been unanimous. There have been some takes on USADA as well. Matt Brown recently discussed the USADA loophole that McGregor supposedly exploited. Chael Sonnen had his take on USADA, too. Now the UFC commentator has also made a similar statement.

Adding to the debate, Joe Rogan made a claim that USADA isn’t bulletproof. “I wouldn’t say that there’s a lack of comprehension… comprehensiveness in the USADA tests. But, they’re not bulletproof”, said Rogan.

The debate between USADA and McGregor doesn’t appear to see the end of the tunnel just yet. And interestingly, it keeps getting fueled with new interpretations every passing day.
