Rogan started off by mentioning the upcoming fight between Chimaev and Nate Diaz. He said, “…well we have to see what happens between Khamzat and Nate Diaz. You can’t sleep on Nate Diaz.”

Usman agreed with Rogan and said, “No, absolutely not. You can’t. But it’s a bizarre fight that doesn’t really make sense.”

Edwards has been called out by everyone in the division; however, it’s safe to say Usman will be the one who’ll be getting the immediate rematch.

Khamzat, on the other hand, will have to emerge victorious against Nate Diaz first and then maybe a fight against Covington to get him to a title shot.

Masvidal and Gilbert Burns are speculated to fight one another, although nothing had been officially announced on both their ends.

Another bout for an emerging title contender will be contesting at UFC 280 when Belal Muhammad faces another undefeated welterweight, Sean Brady.

The welterweight division is on fire right now and it’ll be fun to see how things unfold for the division in the upcoming future.
