Marlon Vera, also known as ‘Chito,’ is determined to avoid any trouble with the Texas Athletic Commission regarding THC, a component found in cannabis. He recently learned that the commission is extremely strict with cases involving THC and is seeking help from UFC commentator Joe Rogan to get a ‘THC pass’.

Vera wrote, “Joe rogan might get me a thc pass since he’s the man in Texas..”

Upon reaching out to Rogan, a fan cited an NBA player who was arrested over the finding of marijuana in his luggage. Vera acknowledged the case and stated that he’ll be careful, given what he initially planned.

Given all the controversies surrounding the UFC fighters lately with the involvement of health commissions, Marlon Vera certainly is not looking to make it to that list.

‘Chito’ also stated that he understands that in the fight game, plans often go awry, and he prefers to take things one step at a time.

“They call you. You don’t like the date, they call the next guy. That’s the way the business works. So honestly, whatever is happening outside of me, I really don’t give a f**k. I really don’t care. Right now, it’s not about the title. It’s about to beat Cory Sandhagen.” Said, Marlon Vera.

Despite the potential implications of this bout, Vera remains steadfast in his approach. He’s quite aware of the fact that anything can happen inside the octagon.
