The candidates for the presidency of the United States, Kamala Harris, and Donald Trump, faced each other for the first time in a televised debate on September 10, which many called a one-sided affair. The poll conducted by CNN was the most widely reported. This one clearly gave Harris as the winner. Something that prompted the current vice president’s team to call for a second debate.

While Harris did make several brilliant points in the debate, the downfall of Trump came with his reliance on fake news and conspiracy theories. One of which was him accusing Haitian immigrants of eating cats and dogs. This truly put a dent in his campaign as people soon began to make fun of his statement. One of them was Joe Rogan, who laughed hysterically at the bizarre statement made by the former president. However, in the same podcast, he has revealed the one thing that Trump does much better than any other politician in the U.S.

In a recent episode of his Joe Rogan Experience with guest Tom Segura, Rogan talked about the debate between the two candidates. While they also believed that Kamala Harris truly stood out as the clear winner, and a much better-prepared candidate among the two, Trump did shine in bits and pieces. One of which was highlighted by the UFC commentator as he praised the former president’s humor.

He said, “The thing that he does, that he can do better than anybody alive, is just riff. He can go out there and have a crowd of people, and he’s funny, man. He does things like he did an Elon impression the other day—it was hilarious. He’s killing. He kills like a comedian. He’s funny; he’s funny like a comic. You know, it’s just that we don’t necessarily want that as the guy with his finger on the button. That’s all it is. That’s the thing that freaks people out.”

CNN’s quick poll of U.S. voters who watched the presidential debate found that Vice President and Democratic White House nominee Kamala Harris vastly edged out former President and Republican nominee Donald Trump. Sixty-three percent of the 605 respondents felt Harris performed better in the debate in Philadelphia. This is much larger compared to the 37 percent who thought Trump was the better of the two. Because of this, the Democrats have now called for a second debate between the two.

Trump vs. Harris 2.0 to get a kickoff?

With less than two months to go before the November 5 electoral contest, both Democrats and Republicans have claimed that their candidate was the winner of this first debate. According to ABC News, which was in charge of organizing the first meeting, the Democrats are calling for a second debate. However, they wish to know if Trump is ready to accept the challenge. For his part, although Trump had initially proposed having three debates with Harris. However, he now says that Democrats want to hold another because, according to him, they lost.

On Fox News, Trump proclaimed himself the winner of the first debate and said that “maybe we shouldn’t.” He also said that the Democratic Party wants to agree to a new meeting because “when you lose, you immediately want revenge.” Although several networks have offered to televise a new debate and the Democrats have shown a willingness to negotiate the conditions, nothing has yet been confirmed. What do you think? Will there be another debate? Let us know in the comments.
