His first controversy at the start of 2022 came in the form of a video that surfaced on the internet. It was a compilation of all the times that Rogan stated a term of high controversy and contention. This created major backlash and public controversy for Rogan and his show as well. This prompted a slew of problems for the 54-year-old on the internet.

Of course, with every controversy, there are likely to be supporters of the issue as well. One of Joe Rogan’s most significant supporters was someone very unlikely. The Governor of Florida, Ron DeSantis, came to the podcaster’s rescue on the issue. Now, almost two months later, Rogan calls DeSantis the best Governor.

However, he has stated that he wants to stay away from politics and having politicians on his show. He’d rather watch and observe rather than have an active opinion.
