Joe Rogan talks about how the conflict will affect the boxing world

The current state of the heavyweight division is quite strange, as yet another British boxer, Tyson Fury, is also hoping to take on Usyk upon his return. ‘The Gypsy King’ is currently preparing for the second title defense of his WBC championship that he won last year by beating Deontay Wilder. In his next outing, Fury is all set to face American heavyweight boxer, and former WBC Interim champion, Dillian Whyte.

Fury hasn’t let go of his dream to become the undisputed heavyweight world champion. ‘The Gypsy King’ is the current WBC champion. Thus, he needs to win the WBA, WBO, and IBF heavyweight titles to make his dream come to fruition. The only way forward is through Usyk, but he first has to face Whyte in the next title defense.
