Joe Rogan has revealed that he never traveled alone during his early days of doing comedy gigs in different venues across the United States. He said, “The best thing that I did and I did it early on as I started bringing my opening acts, I brought guys who I knew were really funny. He added, “They were cool. I paid them … Instead of like, the club paying them because they were always underpaid, I pay for everybody. I pay for the tickets, I pay for the hotel.

The 55-year-old podcaster also mentioned that his friends would tell him how expensive it is to fly around together. But he insisted on traveling together. Rogan said, “That’s not an option. In my mind, then it’s depression weekend. Then it’s me, alone in a Phoenix hotel room.”
