UFC commentator Joe Rogan has a longstanding relationship with Dana White. Rogan has been a commentator with the promotion for over two decades and has therefore been with the UFC for almost as long as White. Therefore, it should be no surprise that the BJJ black belt is fiercely loyal to White. In fact, Rogan’s fealty to White made its way to his contract with the promotion as well. The Spotify podcaster mentioned the same during a recent episode of JRE.
Joe Rogan hosted UFC legends, Din Thomas and Matt Serra, along with MMA coach John Rallo on JRE MMA Show #142. The trio chatted with Rogan for over three hours on a variety of subjects. Unsurprisingly, a lot of those topics centered around martial arts and the UFC. One such discussion landed on Dana White and Rogan revealed the details of his deal with the UFC.

Joe Rogan reveals the Dana White factor in his UFC contract
Joe Rogan was discussing his health issues when Matt Serra changed the discussion to Dana White. The reason was that White had health issues following which he was given a 10-year life expectancy. The 53-year-old changed his lifestyle and now looks to be in the best shape of his life.
Speaking of how White functions, Rogan said, “He doesn’t sleep. He’s always going. I could call Dana [White] and have a two-hour conversation with him at 2 in the morning. He’s an animal. He’s just like, always doing stuff.”
Rogan continued, “He’s always involved, he’s always got deals, he’s always working on fights. He f***ing loves this sh*t.” The former Fear Factor host added, “It’s in my contract that if he leaves, I leave… I don’t want to do this for anybody else.”
Recently, Rogan has not been as involved in the UFC as he used to be. The 55-year-old has his podcast and comedy club keeping him busy. However, that will change this weekend at UFC 290.

Rogan set to return at UFC 290
According to reports, Joe Rogan will return to commentate at UFC 290. The longtime commentator has been restricting himself to US events of the promotion since he has podcasting and stand-up comedy to cater to.
Rogan made an exception to UFC 289, which went down in Canada in June. Now as, the promotion returns to Las Vegas for international fight week, Rogan will complete the fan-favorite trio alongside Daniel Cormier and Jon Anik.
