UFC’s beloved color commentator Joe Rogan lives a life most people could only dream of living. He makes millions of dollars from his stand-up comedy, UFC job, and his highly successful and popular podcast show. Through his many talents, Rogan has made a lot of influential friends in the celebrity world and is now well connected.

Even though he has met and spoken to people most of us would only dream of, Rogan still regrets not meeting two people in his life. In an episode of ‘The Joe Rogan Experience,’ he revealed his list of the people that he wishes he met in his life. Rogan said,” he (James Brown) is one of them. Prince was another.”

Joe Rogan is a huge James Brown fan and also spoke about his controversial incidents in his latest podcast show. The UFC commentator finds James Brown extremely funny and has also spoken about how much he loves his music. Rogan also had a picture of Brown’s famous mugshot in the room where he filmed his podcast episodes. Brown sadly passed away in 2006 in Atlanta.

He was also in awe of the legendary artist Prince and grew up listening to his music. When Prince died in April 2016, Rogan spoke about it on his podcast show and was extremely saddened by the news.

Rogan said, “he (prince) left an undeniable impact on people.” Even though Rogan was a huge fan, he sadly never got to meet Prince in person. Will Smith was one of the last people to talk to Prince before he passed away. According to reports, the actor spoke to the legendary singer the night before he was found unresponsive in a lift.

Joe Rogan defends James Brown and slams a BJJ fighter for trash-talking

Rogan could arguably be one of the biggest James Brown fans we’ve seen. When Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu fighter Renato Laranja dissed the legendary artist, Rogan roasted the fighter and defended Brown.

“James Brown is awesome! He says a lot dude. He says, ‘I don’t know karate but i know crazy.’ James Brown, don’t ever say James Brown don’t say nothing. When you’re in my f*cking country, don’t you ever sh*t on James Brown… I don’t go to Brazil and f*ck with Pele. You don’t come to America and talk sh*t about James brown, son.”
