The 55-year-old continued, “The relationship the comedians have with clubs is based on the initial feeling that you had from clubs. You kinda have to like work through that because in the beginning, you are an open mic and you are f*cking terrible”

Adding to the same, the former Fear factor host, also weighed on how building a relationship with the club owners is important, “And you start getting better and you wanna work but they don’t wanna give you work and they don’t really respect you because they remember you when you were terrible.”

Lastly, Rogan explained that there will be days when most things will go wrong. This was one of his motivations to open a comedy club, as he wanted to be on the other side of the story by becoming a club owner. However, he concluded by saying, ” And then you have to leave town. And when you’re going to leave towns, you’re going to clubs and you are not getting paid that much… Sometimes people will kinda screw you over the ticket prices or something will go wrong. You just gotta be cool about all of it. You gotta be as friendly to club owners as you can be because you don’t wanna be one.”
