Joe Rogan revealed why his fans don’t see him giving frequent takes on day-to-day matters on Twitter. Spotify’s millionaire podcast host usually speaks about various trending topics on his podcast but not on the microblogging site. In his conversation with Whitney Cummings on JRE episode #1850, Rogan reflected on the sole reason for the same: he can’t bear Twitter.

The host of the Good for You podcast and fellow standup artist, Cummings, talked about how various comic artists express themselves on each and everything. Thus, they are not doing their actual job, which is to make people ‘laugh’.
“You know why?” asked Rogan and offered, “Twitter; That’s what it is. That’s why I don’t go on it. These people are all toxic. They are out of their f***ing minds.”

The famed podcaster appeared disinterested in the content and/or people he observes on Twitter, a platform for which Elon Musk initially made a $44 billion bid. The standup artist usually promotes his upcoming shows on the platform. Besides, he shares a few links to trending topics here and there, but nothing apart from it.
Fans had often wondered why one of the most beloved personalities in the MMA space is not a huge part when it comes to expressing his opinion on social media. Perhaps Rogan likes to share his views in the video format rather than restricting himself to words. He has, in fact, expressed that a short form of conversation limits people.
Joe Rogan is not a fan of small conversations
The UFC analyst is known for his hours-long podcast episodes. The former Fear Factor host has conversations with guests from different fields of expertise, whom he interacts with for the first time or has limited interactions, yet he does a 2-4 hour-long podcast with them.
The 54-year-old listens to his guests’ opinions and gets to know them during these prolonged conversations. He once gave an example to conclude the difference between a Late Night show (a short format of conversation) and a podcast like his (The Joe Rogan Experience).

On JRE episode #1846, Rogan said, “I was looking at Nikki Glaser’s Instagram, where she’s talking about sitting down with Seth Meyers. She was like, ‘I had a great fun time for seven minutes with Seth Meyers’. Like, seven minutes!… That it’s like… no one’s going to get to know you in seven minutes.”
