Why was Joe Rogan banned from The Comedy Store?

Joe Rogan was banned from the venue for a period of time between 2007 and 2013. The UFC veteran got involved in a verbal confrontation with the fellow comedian Carlos Mencia (Ned Arnel Mencia) in February 2007.

Rogan gave his side of the story and suggested he had just called ‘Menstealia’. It didn’t go well with Mencia, who called out Rogan for his comment.

At the time, Mencia was a big name; hence, The Comedy Store had backed Mencia, and they banned Rogan.
