Rogan concluded, “I hope that place exists and thrives forever.”

The Comedy Store started on April 7, 1972. Rogan has spent more than a decade performing at the venue. Consequently, he made many friends during his time and many of them have been on his renowned podcast, Joe Rogan Experience.

However, Rogan, who started performing at the venue from 2005 onwards, doesn’t always have a smooth ride.

Why was Joe Rogan banned from The Comedy Store?

Joe Rogan was banned from the venue for a period of time between 2007 and 2013. The UFC veteran got involved in a verbal confrontation with the fellow comedian Carlos Mencia (Ned Arnel Mencia) in February 2007.

However, their beef goes way back to when Rogan had made some comments about the comedian.
