On the JRE podcast, episode #1846, Rogan touched upon different walks of life. While talking about the rights of the people of America, Rogan said, “It’s not just abortion rights but now they’re going after gay marriage too, which is so strange to me.”

Rogan then gave an example of a senator calling it ”silly” and another confronting him for it. Rogan added, “Gay marriage is not silly. It’s marriage; It’s marriage for the people that are homosexual. They want to affirm their love and their relationship.”

The former Fear Factor host then talked about a conspiracy regarding it and moved from the topic. However, the guest, Andrew Schulz, wanted to give his opinion on it as well. Thus, he asked Rogan to discuss it more.

Schulz said, “If you’re gonna say that marriage is an important cultural institution to the fabric of America. You can’t remove it from Americans.”

Rogan agreed and added, “They [gay people] want to have a celebration and they want to be legally bonded and connected and there’s all sorts of benefits to that in terms of financial benefits, taxes.”

Besides, Rogan included how, being a spouse, they could have access to their partners in the hospital if there were any fatal conditions. Thus, he asked for equal marriage rights for all Americans.
