Joe Rogan Talks About How He’s Dealing With Cancellation, Amidst Recent Controversies

Tons of media personalities get canceled every year. It usually involves a comment they once made previously or a particular act that is an absolute no-no. 2022 must be a challenging year for Joe Rogan so far.

Joe Rogan has been in the hot seat for most of this year. He’s come under the media fire for more than once, which can be debilitating to a person. His podcast show on Spotify, The Joe Rogan Experience, is one of the highest-streamed podcasts in the US. 

Given his situation throughout the entire year, media cancellation can be hard to deal with if not done correctly. Rogan, however, seems to be going about it the right way.

Dealing with cancel culture – The Joe Rogan way 

In a recent episode of the JRE with Dave Smith, Rogan stated, “Because there was a time like yesterday or the day before where every time I would open Twitter, and I’m not, I don’t look at my mentions at all, but it was all about me. I was like, Jesus Christ… I’m looking for something that’s an escape…” 

He further added, “One of the things that’s happened over this recent cancellation, I’ve substantially spent less time online. And it made me feel better. Not just because I’m not reading about me, like mean things people say about me, or supportive things that people say about me…

Why is Rogan being canceled? 

Joe Rogan is known to be one of the coolest and kindest persons in all media. His demeanor and sincerity have established him as a global personality. With that being said, though, with a lot of fame comes a lot of notoriety as well.

Rogan has been on the hot seat several times for various reasons. All things considered, Joe Rogan has already apologized on his Twitter platform twice for a recent incident as well and is currently on damage control in the after-burn.
