Joe Rogan criticizes NYPD’s new dance team

The New York City police department (NYPD) is facing criticism all across the nation for its dance crew as they performed their new dance at a local TV station, NewYorkers, as well as crime critics, are concerned by the fact that officers are now engaged in dance moves than combating crime.

Jumping on the bandwagon, Joe Rogan, in his recent podcast, had a conversation about NY’s current scenario. While having a conversation with the author and psychologist, Dr. Phil McGraw, Rogan showed him the clip of New York’s new dance crew “This is the NYPD dance team. So they developed a dance team,” said Rogan.

The BJJ black belt further drew a parallel between the last days of the Roman Empire with that of the USA. “Remember when you were a kid and you thought about the fall of the Roman Empire, and you were like, ‘Did they see it coming?” McGraw inquired whether Rogan thinks these incidents are a clue to something, to which Rogan said, “If a bigger clue would be an alien landing on the White House lawn, if that’s the only thing bigger, this is insanity!”

Rogan’s assessments are not wrong considering there are those that did not find this new move from the men in blue interesting. Interestingly, New York is not the only place that Rogan has issues with. The 56-year-old has a different beef with the West Coast, California.

Rogan explains why he left California

Joe Rogan lived in California for a good two decades before moving in 2020. The million-dollar podcaster left California to live in Austin, Texas. As per Rogan, the prime reason for him to migrate was that, according to him, California is turning into a control freak state.

“California went nuts, man. It’s gone like full communist; it’s out of its f*cking mind. And their approach to law enforcement is so ins*ne. The no cash bail, the letting people out for committing violent crimes, the f*cking not stopping people for stealing up to whatever money it is, what is it, $900 now? I think they raised it. I think they made it a little higher. San Francisco is non-existent,” said Rogan while having a conversation with Bobby Lee.
